Booking Policy

Reservation and Deposit:
1.1. To book a timeslot for a session, please use our platform - Setmore. You can reserve a timeslot up to three weeks in advance by depositing.
1.2. The deposit amount will be communicated during the booking process and is non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
2.1. We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you wish to cancel your session, you must do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
2.2. If you cancel your session more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, you will not incur any additional charges, but the deposit will not be refunded.
2.3. If your session is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, 100% of the deposit will be charged as a cancellation fee.
2.4. You may reschedule your session 24 hours before the booked session start time without any additional charges. The deposit will be applied to the new booking.

Reminder Notifications:
3.1. An email and a text message will be sent to you 30 hours before your session as a reminder of your upcoming appointment.

Compliance with Canadian and Ontario Law:
4.1. Our booking policy adheres to and complies with all relevant Canadian and Ontario laws and regulations governing appointment bookings and consumer protection.
4.2. Any disputes or legal matters arising from our services or this booking policy will be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Exceptional Circumstances:
5.1. In case of exceptional circumstances that prevent you from attending your session, we understand that sometimes unforeseen situations may arise. In such cases, please get in touch with the tutor directly to discuss the matter.
5.2. The tutor will assess each situation individually and may, at their discretion, consider rescheduling the session or applying the deposit to a future booking.

Prohibited Substances and Activities:
6.1. For the safety and comfort of all learners and staff, the use of weed, smoking, and alcohol is strictly prohibited within the learning center premises.
6.2. Possession, consumption, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly forbidden.
6.3. Any individual violating this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately, and appropriate legal actions may be taken if necessary.

Acceptance of Terms:
7.1. By making a reservation and paying the deposit, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions of our booking policy, including the no-refund policy and the 100% deposit charge for cancellations within 24 hours.
7.2. It is the responsibility of the client to read and understand the policy before proceeding with the reservation and payment.

Please note that this booking policy is subject to change at the sole discretion of Nick's Method management. We recommend checking the policy regularly to stay updated with any modifications.
